SignEveil: Discover French Sign Language with 3D Animations
SignEveil is a 3D application designed to help users learn French Sign Language. With a comprehensive lexicon of over 100 signs, users can watch avatars demonstrate the signs in action. The app offers various control buttons to adjust the speed of the motion, view hand movements through colorful trajectories, and even see through the avatar to better understand how to recreate the sign themselves. Additionally, users have the option to choose from five different avatars, including a cat, panda, dog, mouse, and fox.
In addition to the lexicon, SignEveil offers mini games to help users practice their vocabulary. The "Devine le signe" game challenges users to choose the correct sign made by the avatar, while the "Memo-Signes" game tests users' ability to find identical FSL pairs.
All the 3D animations in SignEveil are recorded from a deaf signer using motion capture technology, ensuring authenticity and accuracy in learning French Sign Language.
